BEST has announced some changes in routes for its fleet of AC buses in Mumbai. These changes will be effective from March 1, 2013. Here are some of the routes affected. We are trying to get an official word from them about all new routes.
A-70 Exp.
The route of A-70 Express, which goes via sea link, has been extended to Mantralaya. It used to terminate at Nehru Planetarium. See A-70 Exp AC Bus timings.
A-76 Exp.
A-76 Express from Gorai Depot to Colaba has been cancelled. However, A-74 will continue to run as it is.
UPDATE: BEST has decided to run one A-76 Exp bus between Gorai and Colaba Depot. 7:45 am from Gorai Depot and 6:20 pm from Colaba Depot.
AS-440
AS-440 from Borivali to Wadala depot has been cancelled.
AS-2
AS-2 route has been changed. It will now run from Mira Road to Nehru Planetarium. It used to be Dahisar Depot to Backbay Depot. However, there is no change in AS-4 timings or route.
AS-302
AS-302 will now run from Ghatkopar to Thane.
