Aksa Beach is probably the (comparatively) quietest and cleanest beach in Mumbai that is also easily accessible. But this quiet and cleanliness can be a totally missing if you land up at Aksa Beach during wrong hours or time of the year.
Best time to visit Aksa Beach, as per our experience, is:
- Weekdays: Quieter and nicer than weekends.
- Afternoons: Evening time not only gets crowded, even approach roads face traffic congestion.
- NOT during festivals: Planning to visit on Christmas or New Year? Don’t even think.
- NOT during low tides: Water is just too far and the area is messy and (slightly) dirty during low tides.
