My first visit to Metta Foot Spa was with a friend during lunch time. To be honest, the idea of being massaged by someone who can’t see was making me feel guilty like hell. However, as soon as I entered the spa, everything changed. Professionally organized place, sight of therapists sincerely massaging while keeping a track of time on their talking watches and peaceful faces walking out was enough for me to shed my inhibitions. I was ready for a differently exciting spa.
It is said that visually impaired people have highly developed reflexes and sense of touch. I could just feel that magical touch within a few minutes into my massage. I will admit that I missed those fancy beds, aromatic candles and mystical decor. However, the almost perfect massage made up for that. And at Rs.350 for one full hour of foot, head and back massage, this place is as affordable as it is addictive.
