Every year, during the festival of Holi, people flock from different parts of the country to Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded. Sri Hazur Sahib is one of the most important Sikh shrines and probably the only Holy place in the world that celebrates the festival of Holi in such a grand way. Holi is traditionally celebrated with colors and Bhang, a narcotic drink. However inside the Gurudwara premises, Bhang is not permitted and the only color allowed is Gulaal (a natural eco-findly color).

Holi in itself is a unique festival. The day when the entire India is painted in similar colors. The day when everyone looks the same, irrespective of caste, color, religion or ethnicity. No law or teaching can bring people together in a way this festival does. Have a look…
