It’s not easy to find an Indian gift for a foreigner friend or a client. Everything we can think of is probably available in their own country. Luckily, we know of a few things that never fail to impress a foreigner.

Lord Ganesha

Ganesha is probably the coolest God in the world. You can find him playing music, relaxing on a sofa, holding a phone or just simply blessing us. You can find some great Ganesha Idols on Amazon or just head to the nearest Bombay Store and pick from hundreds of options available.

Luxurious Ayurvedic Products

Nothing speaks India like Ayurveda. And, no surprises here, the world’s best Ayurvedic products are available in India. My favourite gift, when it comes to Ayurveda, is Forest Essentials Gift Pack or check individual products at their Amazon store. Have gifted it to several friends, many of them foreigners, and they all love it. And their gift wrapping with some mesmerising fragrance adds to the appeal.

Indian Sweets

Pack a box of Kaju Katli, Keer Kodom or any other dry Indian sweet. A word of caution. Indian sweets are too sweet for most foreigners. It’s better to find a shop that can make less sugary mithai for you. You will be surprised many already do. There are also sugar-free versions available.

Hyderabad Pearl Jewellery

Traditional, smart, good looking and unique. Hyderabad Pearl Jewellery makes for a great gift, especially for women. If you happen to be in Hyderabad, visit any popular store like Modi Pearls for some amazing gift options.
