Taj Mahal Visit Timings Information:

Friday: Closed for Public. Friday afternoon entry only for those who have to attend prayers at the Mosque inside Taj Mahal.

Rest of the days: Open from 30 Minutes before sunrise and upto 30 Mintues before sunset.

Visit Duration: As long as you want within operating hours.

The Taj Mahal is also open for a beautiful night-time moonlight view of the Taj from 8.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m., two days before and after each full moon.

Night Viewing of the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays and in the month of Ramzan.

Best Time to Visit Taj Mahal

November to Mid March. It’s pretty hot otherwise.

Entry Fee: INR 1000 per person.
Subsidised Fee for Indians: INR 40 per person.
Children: Free for age < 15. Both Domestic and Foreigner. Nighttime View: Indians: INR 510 Foreigners: INR 750 Children: INR 500.

Tickets available one hour before sunrise upto 45 Minutes before sunset.

No Entry from Taj Mahal Southern Gate is allowed.

Nighttime View Tickets: Taj Mahal Night Viewing Tickets are available on the day before Night Viewing of the Taj Mahal from 10.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.
